Have you heard of the I-Ching, The Wheel of Life or the Bhagavad-Gita? They are sacred literature from the East that has become popular in the West during modern times and are worth a look by astrologers.
In L201B we compare the religious concepts of Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism through excerpts from their sacred literature. We also explore any connection of the cosmos to human experience in each work as it provides a path for interpretation. In the course of study students compare common themes in the sacred works such as: facing great challenge, God as guide, the rewards of virtue, and the power of love.
