Have you heard of the I-Ching, The Wheel of Life or the Bhagavad-Gita? They are sacred literature from the East that has become popular in the West during modern times and are worth a look by astrologers.

Instructors: Carol Tebbs, MA and Batya Stark
5-week course begins July 11, 2021
TIME: Sundays from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM PDT

In L201B we compare the religious concepts of Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism through excerpts from their sacred literature. We also explore any connection of the cosmos to human experience in each work as it provides a path for interpretation. In the course of study students compare common themes in the sacred works such as: facing great challenge, God as guide, the rewards of virtue, and the power of love.

L201A or L201B may be taken for expanding cultural understanding, OR as electives for the Diploma program, which also count toward a certificate in Astrological Heritage OR Multi-Cultural Traditions.
