Workshops that are online and are joined via online conferencing software: You can request a refund up to 24 hours before the start date. There will be a $20 service charge per workshop.
If you sign up for a multi-week workshop and cancel after attending one session for good cause, you will be refunded a proportional amount minus a $20 service charge.
Refunds are available up to one week prior to the course start less a $20 service charge per course.
In courses that students have accessed, there are NO REFUNDS. However, fees can be transferred to another course.
Refund requests based on non-attendance or unawareness of refund procedures are NOT considered justifiable.
In the Fundamentals courses (W101, W102, W103, W104, W110, and W111A), if a student is unable to attend or complete a course in one term, they may extend their tuition to the next term the course is taught (for example, a student enrolls in the Spring, but is unable to complete the course - upon request, they can attend Summer term for no additional cost). They must notify the instructor prior to the end of the first course in order to take advantage of this option.
For all courses other than those specified above, any extension is solely at the discretion of the instructor. Additional fees may be required.
Cancellation of a Course
Occasionally enrollment is not sufficient to offer a course that was scheduled to take place in a particular term, or an instructor may have an emergency that prevents him or her from teaching a scheduled course.
If Kepler cancels the course, any money already paid by the student may be applied to other courses. Students may also ask for a refund of such funds after the cancellation of the course. If the request is made for a cash refund after 30 days, a $20 service fee will apply.
