In this workshop, development of the Ego/Self is explained and illustrated as a birthing process. This aids in understanding the psychological concept and content of the deep Self and its “seed” of our ongoing becoming. Taking our psychological planetary tasks (Fate] and shaping them (Self awareness) is what the gift of consciousness brings.
The focus of this worksohp is on the Sun and Saturn as “Self and Containment”; and the Outer Planets: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto as “options in consciousness”.
Astrology is the best and most elegant way of connecting us to our deep Self and our consciousness of that fact: understanding depth archetypal astrology we have volition, choice and preparedness!
Planets do not make us “do” anything.
Psychologically, planets are in collusion as archetypal symbols of the deep inner Self. With the sighting of each outer planet, our options in consciousness increased – for the good and also, in some ways, for the darker forces.
When we can no longer blame the stars and the gods, but see the horoscope and its planets, signs and aspects as our interior personal motivation, we are liberating our Self. Looking at the natal horoscope in this way, we become increasingly more of ourselves.
This class brings the archetypal character of the gods of the ancient western world into their relationship as active participants in our own psyche . . . “integration of the gods” simply means becoming more conscious - thus empowered – through our own horoscopes - and the transits of the times.
Each student will receive a copy of the Lecture of the power-point video so reviewing it will be a way to embed the information and images into your work and study.
