In Western Astrology, we are familiar with the four elements. Chinese Astrology uses a Five Element system originally based on the five visible planets; Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
In this webinar, Donna Stellhorn will introduce how the Chinese five elements interact with each other in a creative cycle, destructive cycle or reduction cycle. Through these cycles, we see when energy will be positive, negative or weakened. Each year (as well as each month and each day) has a ruling element. We can compare this element with the element of the Chinese zodiac animal ruling the year to see which cycle we're influenced by.
For each individual, Chinese Astrology gives us an element and an animal sign for the year, month, day and time we're born. These four element/animal combinations, called Pillars, give us insights into personality. When this is compared with the current day, month and year, we can know if we will have positive or challenging energy to deal with.
This lecture looks at the various cycles of the five elements. In addiition, it will show how you can look at the current energy to see when things will be easy and beneficial and when you'll need a bit more resolve.
