From the dawn of astrology, eclipses have been a source of mystery and dread for sky-watching populations around the globe. The Babylonians in particular had a long tradition of watching for eclipses and started the practice of using them, along with other techniques, to forecast significant political, economic and social events for their kingdoms.
The fear of eclipses was in fact one of earliest drives in the development of astrology. Since then, we have inherited from our tradition a wealth of information about the use of eclipse charts in political and mundane forecasting. This 90 minute webinar will explore some of the most useful eclipse techniques in the forecast of significant world events while examining past and future eclipses.
