The planet Uranus is understood to represent many archetypal parts of life - among them: the higher octave of Mercury our community, individuality, one’s rebellious nature, revolution, and traumatic events. Despite the complexity of Uranus the kingpin of this archetype is that of the trickster or coyote, as many Native American tribes understand this archetype to manifest. With the trickster, coyote, nature of Uranus nothing is quite what it seems and everything can change in the blink of an eye.
Over the years Laura Tadd has come to liken this coyote energy, imbued into Uranus, to looking at things with the prospective of a Funhouse Mirror. Quite simply, Uranus distorts things, but this does not have to be a bad thing. It does suggest that the sign in which Uranus resides, at any given moment in time, is expressed in an distorted manner, but sometimes things need to be shaken up if growth and evolution (also part of the Uranus archetype) is going to be achieved.
In this community webinar, Laura will look at Uranus throughout the zodiac and historical events reflective of that alignment. Particularly with Uranus, as part of its meaning is tied to society and community, exploring how the archetype is expressed at the collective level deepens our understanding of the archetype and thereby how it may be expressed at an individual level.
