Draconic is a branch of astrology based on lunar symbolism that offers a deeper viewpoint into one’s inner motivations. The Draconic zodiac is oriented to the Moon and takes the North Node as 0 degree of Aries. Whereas the Tropical zodiac is about our psychological traits, the Draconic zodiac alludes to memory and inheritance. It is impressed within the tropical, and both interact.

The Draconic zodiac is associated with our motivations and purpose. Because it is engraved within the Tropical zodiac, one needs to superimpose the draconic chart to the tropical one. Both charts interact: the draconic chart represents inner motivations and purpose. When a draconic planet or angle touches a tropical one, it is as though the soul has reached out to that planet in order to convey a part of itself. There is a subliminal conditioning that becomes evident; the contacted planet expresses the symbolism of the draconic and gains strength in terms of the planetary symbolisms involved.

Learning Objectives

The workshop consists of 5 sessions of 90 minutes each, and the following topics will be addressed:

The lunar nodes, their traditional and humanistic interpretations.

The return of the nodes.

The difference between True and Mean Nodes.

Origin of Draconic Astrology.

How to calculate a draconic chart.

How to interpret a draconic chart.

Draconic Transits on both the Tropical and Draconic charts.

Draconic Synastry.

Examples of my own research on how to differentiate charts of twins using the Draconic Zodiac.

Instructor: Öner Döşer
Self-directed course (4 months to complete)

Enroll in a self-directed course if you'd like to study at your own pace. Although there are no live meetings, you will benefit from a structured classroom with a myriad of educational resources and periodic guidance from the instructor.

Predicting the future is an intuitive need in human nature. The ability of astrologers to make predictions is one of the main reasons why astrology has stood the test of time. The skilled make more accurate predictions, and it is this skill that can lead to higher wisdom.

Predictive techniques like Secondary progressions, Solar Return Charts, Solar Arc progressions, and especially Transits are widely used by modern astrologers. Some of the predictive techniques of classical astrology are often the source of our modern practice and can be successfully blended with modern methodologies.
Traditional predictive techniques help us to understand the patterns of fate. First, an individual's life is divided into main periods and then these periods are divided into small sub-periods. Thus we are able to both see the details and the general course of our life. The predictive techniques in Traditional Astrology are systemized and orderly. They give us certain rules for analyzing the chart and making predictions. They propose a deductive approach while predicting the general course of life.
Required texts can be found under the Self-Paced section of https://keplercollege.org/index.php/required-books-for-courses
