Students will learn the basics of astrological symbolism and how to apply that knowledge to chart interpretation. By the end of this course, students will have a solid understanding of the natal chart and will be able to synthesize the basic components of the chart into an interpretation of their own.
This course begins by breaking down the components of a natal chart so that students have a solid understanding of how each symbol contributes to interpretation. In addition, students will have an introduction to the similarities and differences between different types of astrology and changes over time. Each week, students will add another component of the chart as they build their interpretative skills.
Topics covered include: • Planets • Signs, Elements, Qualities • Angles and Quadrants, Houses • Basic Dignities & Debilities • Major Aspects • Synthesis. The lab provides guided practice in chart interpretation skills.
