Primary Instructor: Carol Tebbs, Gloria Scigliano
This is not an introductory course. Students are expected to have a working knowledge of the elements of natal chart interpretation and synthesis.
The W110 course examines the development of modern Western interpretive methods of movement based upon planetary cycles, natural phenomena and symbolic interpretive tools from the 16th to the 21st centuries.
Instructors: Karen McCauley and Inga Thornell.
The primary focus in this course is the practical application of what the student has learned. A good astrologer must not only know techniques but be able to reflect upon their own world view, assumptions and other personal filters. Students will also actively consider and discuss potential client issues and ethical considerations. In addition, students get guidance in how to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches to delineation by examining how multiple astrologers approach chart interpretation.
Instructors: Carol Tebbs, Enid Newberg
This course moves the student beyond the basics of interpreting planets, signs, houses and aspects to where students can distinguish how these components are modified for each individual. Students are encouraged to critically consider the various techniques through a discussion of their strengths and weaknesses as well as any controversies surrounding them. Guided practice each week in “Live Chat” refines the process of spotting major life themes in the natal chart.
Instructors: Enid Newberg, Donna Young, Tamira McGillivray
