What does astrology tell us about our soul's calling that helps us understand what we are meant to do?

The essence of the soul’s journey is the discovery of a larger sense of who we are and how we live in the world. In ordinary experience, our primary interactions with the world are through our daily work, our job or career. But this may not be the same as being "called" to a particular type of action or work. Sometimes the soul's calling is quiet; sometimes it is a demand that is triggered by grief or other traumas in our lives. The soul's calling asks us to trod a path that can transform ourselves and our world. Whether or how we act upon that call that is our soul’s “vocation.” This course explores how astrology can help us understand our soul's journey.

At some point in most people's lives, there is a need, a calling, from within toward action that links us to something greater than our selves. Sometimes the journey to connect with the world in a meaningful way is lonely and dry as we experience alienation from the expectations of others; sometimes we hold on too tightly and narrowly and need to relax and expand. We often fall and need to climb back. We possess an entire cultural history around all these experiences. Astrology can help us understand the many expressions of soul and the feeling of having a soul purpose. Students will work with natal charts to understand one’s calling and subsequent journey.

This is such a great course!!! I would recommend that anyone interested in astrology take it, it is fascinating and has something for everyone!!!!
