Administrative Assistant to Education Coordinator
Kepler College seeks a detail-oriented and organized person to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, the administrative assistant will work closely with the Education Coordinator and the Operations Director.
Scope of Work
This position is a contracted freelance position that is 100% remote with flexible work hours. Some team meetings will be required. This position starts at ten (10) hours per week with an opportunity for growth.
The Administrative Assistant will be assigned administrative tasks by the Education Coordinator and Operations Director. The scope of work will be a wide range of administrative tasks, including interfacing with instructors and Certificate Coordinators and ensuring that assigned tasks are on track. Maintaining database entries and electronic filing of documents and other administrative tasks as assigned.
This role requires the following skills and/or experience:
- Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and use formulas, work with multiple tabs, linking spreadsheets and creating informative reports from quarterly, annual and aggregated data
- Proficiency in Word
- The ability to work in a collaborative environment
- The ability to hold the confidentiality of student and instructor records is required.
- Reliable internet access and flexible hours of availability
Preferred skills and/or experience
- Experience working in Moodle (LMS)
- Experience working with a Project Planning system such as Trello or Asana
- Experience working with the backend of WooCommerce
- Experience working with database platforms or Airtable
