The Astrological Planets
It helps to be able to see the planets as representing different functions of human behavior. They may be seen as needs or, perhaps, as expectations. For example, Jupiter needs/expects success while Venus needs/expects affection. They may represent fears; for example, Saturn may expect/fear failure. They represent ways of doing things: for example, Mars does things in an assertive way, while Uranus does things in an unusual way.
