Natal Fundamentals Certificate:
This Certificate requires 40 credits to complete. This series of classes provides a solid grounding in the symbolism of Western natal astrology. It covers how symbolism has evolved, how to synthesize and apply that knowledge to delineate a natal chart, and an awareness of the ethical issues involved.
The certificate provides a solid grounding in the symbolism of Western natal astrology. It covers how symbolism has evolved over time, how to synthesize and apply that knowledge to delineate a natal chart, as well as an awareness of the ethical issues involved.
By the end of this certificate, students will have understood how different philosophies and techniques developed within the Western astrological tradition from Hellenistic to modern. They will be aware of many astrological controversies and enjoy continual practice in chart interpretation.
Changes are being made to this Certificate in the 2024-2025 Academic Year. The Fundamentals Certificate will require 40 credits to complete. The Extended Certificate will be eliminated.
All courses are 10 credits unless otherwise specified.

- RN102 Fundamentals II: Interpretation Essentials
- RN103 Fundamentals III: Beyond the Basics
- RN104 Fundamentals IV: Chart Synthesis: Natal Practicum
Completion of this certificate or its equivalent is required for the Diploma.

All courses at Kepler College are taught in English unless noted otherwise. Proficiency in English is required for all students. Fundamentals IV is a Practicum. Live attendance is required for this class to qualify for academic credit.
