Cossar Faye1Instructor Faye Blake-Cossar was one of the first MA graduates in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology in 2004, from Bath Spa University College. This course is now run at the University of Wales, Lampeter. Faye started studying astrology in the early 1970's in New Zealand where she was born. While in London from 1984-1986 she began her studies with the Faculty of Astrological Studies. Faye now has her astrology, coaching and therapy practice in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where she is the founder of the Amsterdam School of Astrology. She offers advice to businesses through her company Juxtaposition. Faye is the author of one of the text books for the Vocational Astrology course:  “Using Astrology to Create a Vocational Profile”, a book based on career counselor’s methods. The first course at Kepler was given together with Judy Holloway to very enthusiastic students in 2015. Faye also offers a one-to-one apprenticeship for Vocational Astrology through the Amsterdam School of Astrology.

 

 


Kepler Instructors are chosen for their expertise in academic and astrological knowledge and for their ability to effectively teach what they know to others in an online environment.

They must be able to produce quality instructional materials that enhance learning by using multiple strategies and approaches. They need to understand how to work with students remotely, and to develop the trust and respect of their students and colleagues.

They also need to stay up-to-date on new developments and examine the interplay of the new and old. And they must be willing acknowledge their own biases so they can present their students with multiple perspectives.
